Author of the award winning Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures (2006 Scotiabank Giller Prize), author Vincent Lam will join us to discuss On the Ravine—a thrilling novel that compassionately explores the doctor/patient relationship, addiction and loss.

About Vincent: Dr. Vincent Lam is from the expatriate Chinese community of Vietnam, and was born in Canada. Dr. Lam did his medical training in Toronto, and worked for thirteen years as an emergency physician in Toronto. He now works in addictions medicine. He is a Lecturer at the University of Toronto. He has also worked in international air evacuation and expedition medicine on Arctic and Antarctic ships.
